We're Turning Two!

Did you know January is a big month for Loop Creative? Sure, it’s the start of a fresh new year and a brand-new decade, but it’s also our anniversary!

January marks two amazingly fun, creative, and successful years of “Loop-ing” around Raleigh and Durham! As we reflect on these last few years and our amazing growth, we wanted to let you know a little more about us and how we started.

Loop was started by Tanya Sloan and Robyn Kelly. Longtime friends who lost touch during the wild and wonderful years of raising children, they reconnected after 14 years when they interned at Angel Oak Creative in Raleigh. As luck would have it, the timing of their reunion was ideal since they were both transitioning into new careers.

Tanya, who’s previous career was in communications, had recently received a certificate in Social Media Marketing from North Carolina State University. Robyn, looking to make a change from her education management career, went back to school for a degree in graphic and web design.

What do you get when you put a love of nonprofits, marketing expertise, social media knowledge and beautiful graphic design together? You get Loop!

Loop’s goal has always been to fill a void for small nonprofit marketing here in the Triangle. While we have worked with organizations of all different shapes and sizes, our specialty is small or start-up nonprofits and socially conscious businesses.

Why? Because that’s what we love!

Plus, we know firsthand how important marketing is for all businesses and not just ones with a huge budget to throw around. The benefits of a solid marketing plan are priceless to any organization - especially nonprofits. It’s vital to spreading an organization’s message and connecting with potential donors.

When every dollar matters to your organization, you need to make sure you are amplifying your digital presence and getting the most bang for your marketing buck. It’s also when a strong plan makes all the difference.

When Loop started in a small office space in North Raleigh, neither Tanya nor Robyn imagined how quickly it would expand. After a year of doing everything on their own, they realized they could not meet the increasing demand without some help.

Enter the Loop Creative team! Loop now is lucky enough to have some of the best freelancers around helping meet client needs and push the creative envelope.

So, Loop is entering this new decade with all our experience and expertise as well as a powerful team of creatives. We have accomplished more in two years than we could have ever dreamed and are ready to take on whatever is next.

Happy second anniversary, Loop!
